This power roller is normally mounted on a heavy duty airless extension pole, with the paint flow controlled by an airless in-line gun. It consists of a perforated delivery tube inside a spiral distributor to ensure uniform delivery of the paint across the full width of the roller cover. The internal diameter of the covers is the American 1.5" size and the 9" cover is perforated with 64 holes each about 1/8" diameter. The paint is usually supplied from an airless paint sprayer.
Perforated roller covers are available with 1/2", 3/4" and 1 1/4" nap (pile) lengths and some are available with a foam layer between the nap and the core for rough surfaces.
