Description
Technical Data

Graco RAC-X reversible airless spray tips are manufactured from an alloy matrix containing hard tungsten carbide powder, which is scintered and then cut to produce a spray fan of a particular width.  The carbide is installed in a round housing that allows it to be reversed when in a special tip guard and holder.

The tip size is marked on the side of the plastic used to rotate the tip with a numbering system that gives the orifice size and the fan width that is produced.  There are usually 3 numbers;  the first is half the fan width in incheses when it is 12" from the surface and the second and third numbers is the size in thousandths of an inch (thou').  A 517 tip is a typical size for spraying emulsion in an average house room (this is not a FineFinish tip).

Graco RAC-X Fine Finish airless spray tips have a pre-orifice installed before the tip carbide, that provides a pre-atomisation of the material so that when it leaves the tip it will be more finely atomised and produce a better finish.  All the Fine Finish tips are sized in even numbers and only available in sizes from 10 to 14 thousandths of an inch, eg G.FFA.312

Please see technical data for part numbers of available tip sizes
