Spraying a closed door with airless Painting domestic and small commercial
When painting domestic and small commercial properties, you will want to deliver the paint more slowly to keep control, so you fit a smaller spray tip than you would use for spraying the same material in a large warehouse. Although the spray pressure in the spray gun will be the same, the rate at which the paint comes out of the spray gun will be much less and not require such a powerful sprayer. The sprayer for this kind of work will be usually smaller and cost less. To make it compact and light in weight, the manufacturer may reduce the size of the pump, which means that it will have to pump faster to keep up with you, and wear out faster.

Airless spraying a large building Spray painting large buildings and commercial property
Spray painting a large building is 10 times faster on average, than using a roller. The speed of application depends on how fast the paint leaves the spray-gun tip, which in turn depends on how big the spray tip is. For a given material, say contract emulsion, the larger the spray tip orifice, the faster you will need to move the spray gun. In a wide open area this may not be a problem, but if the area to be spayed is complicated with windows and doors, this will slow you down and require a smaller spray tip.
The faster the paint leaves the spray gun the more powerful the airless sprayer will have to be to be able to pump the greater volume of material.
