As your paint spray equipment is likely to become an important part of your daily equipment, keeping it in good working order is essential to avoid costly downtime. Always ensure that all parts are properly cleaned out after use and if necessary protected with a suitable corrosion inhibitor or solvent.
Consumable parts such as a selection of spray tip sizes for different jobs, filters and perforated roller covers, should be kept to hand at all times. We have a comprehensive stock of consumable and repair parts of Graco, Titan and Spraytech brands, which we can supply overnight by first class post or courier. We can quickly source other brands if required.
Since modern airless equipment is easy to service, many owners do this themselves and often keep spare fluid sections (paint pump) on the shelf to allow them to exchange one without loss of time. For painters who do not wish to service their own equipment, Lion Industries has a fully equipped workshop, staffed by experienced engineers. We can arrange for the collection of paint spray equipment for return to our workshop for servicing and repair, with a one or two day turn around depending on the season. Springtime is our most busy period, so it is advisable to have your equipment serviced during the quiet months of December through to February, to avoid having to wait for servicing during the busy season.
Training staff
Lion Industries can train your painters in how to use, and do simple servicing of the equipment, and how to plan to Power Paint particular jobs using the appropriate accessories. This training is chargeable at our hourly workshop rate plus travel expenses; please call us for details. When purchasing a new spray unit, the cost of commissioning and training is usually free of charge, depending on the sales conditions.
We advise and train paint manufacturers in the use of Power Painting® equipment and supply and train the counter staff of decorator’s merchants. As leading suppliers of paint spray equipment to the hire trade, we also provide in-house workshop training to hire staff, although this is usually combined with training of counter staff.
Please see the pages on training for more details of our training programmes.
