A pneumatic airless unit having a linear air cylinder driving a long stroke piston pump. The maximum fluid pressure is 4,500 psi which allows the unit to support up to 150' of 3/8" hose depending on the viscosity of the intumescent coating. It requires a 150 cfm compressor. As direct immersion is not practical with this unit, the pump suction is modified by Lion Industries to be a short 1.5" hose with a stainless immersion pipe.
